Learnerships

Learnerships

Learnerships serve as a practical pathway to acquiring qualifications while working. They encompass a structured program that combines hands-on workplace experience with systematic theoretical training. A learnership typically spans twelve months and culminates in a recognized national qualification.
IRIS offers over 14 registered ICT learnerships, ranging from NQF Levels 5 to 6. In our approach to learnerships, we adhere to these best practices:
– All training is instructor-led.
– Training schedules align with the required notional hours for each learnership.
– Participants follow a prearranged timetable for training and workplace learning sessions.
While alternative options exist, our experience has shown that a six-month theoretical period coupled with a six-month workplace experience often yields optimal results. However, we can adjust the duration based on specific accreditation requirements. For groups with fewer than 20 participants, individuals can be accommodated in available programs. Larger groups, exceeding 20 participants, have the flexibility to customize their commencement dates and schedules to suit their unique needs.
